Make djay app show 2 decks. Pioneer DJ’s new DDJ-200 hardware is designed to work with mobile devices and streaming services primarily, and laptops/local music only as another way of DJing on top of that.

- I've recently bought studio one artist edition. After downloading all of the files, I opened up the program and was told that some of my files were missing. The files were my synth, keyboard, bass, and drum sound files, so safe to say, they're very important. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program to no aveil.

Hi all, I’m new to S1 (coming from years on Logic) and muddling my way through the initial learning phase. Been watching lots of tutorials on Youtube mostly and just clicking around to see if it really is as intuitive as I have hoped. At some point I may have changed the Location for sounds to a Samples and Loop folder on a separate external drive also used for recording to. I also listed the default Location for sounds in the Documents folder on my system drive. Presently in Preferences, I have Soundsets in 2 places on the system drive (Documents/ and Users/Shared/), and Instrument Files on the external. I am confused about the best way to handle this data consistently. I would prefer keeping it all on the separate drive but if that is not optimum for S1 then I will keep it on the system drive with the application. I don’t understand the difference between Sound Sets and Instrument Files and how they need to be organized. I also tried downloading sound sets from Exchange but didn’t know the correct place to install them. So they are scattered in weird places, like somehow the percussion sound sets got saved under Woodwinds. Obviously, now my computer is as confused as I am. At any rate, here is the problem: I recorded and edited 2 MIDI instrument tracks with sounds from Presence XT (Combinations/Piano and Strings.sound and Electric Guitar Mute.sound). Not sure this matters, but while I was editing the MIDI tracks, I accidentally hit Bounce so one of the tracks was rendered before I had finished editing. So I hit Undo. This version of the song was saved in History along with many others. Now when I open any version of the song in History, it opens up saying the sound files are missing. I’ve searched both drives and they don’t show up anywhere. How can I recover these instrument sound files? Do I need to re-download them from Presonus, and if so, how would I do that and where would I install them? Studio One 3.2.1, early 2011 Macbook Pro, OS X 10.9.5

Not much of an expert but I think the sound files you deleted are the ones that go in the 'pool' (in the browser) these are created when you 'drop' an instrument from the browser onto your midi track. Instruments are contained in soundsets. Just drop the instrument/s back onto your midi tracks and I think you'll find the sound files recreated in your pool. Deleting these files from the pool just removes the instrument they relate to. __________________________________________________________________________ Windows 10 Pro, i7-3770 3.4Ghz, 32.0 GB RAM, Acer CB280HK 4K Studio One 3 Professional, Notion 5, Roland QUAD-CAPTURE, M-Audio Oxygen 25, S-Gear2, Halion5, NI Komplete, XLN Drums & Keys, Ozone 7 Adv , Alloy 2, Melodyne Studio 4, Sonar Platinum, Cubase Pro 8.5

I found them in the pool but they have red question marks by them. I dragged them onto the tracks but no sound. Studio One 3.2.1, early 2011 Macbook Pro, OS X 10.9.5
If you have the midi files you recorded, you should be able to go to any instrument in the Studio One browser & drag it onto the track. __________________________________________________________________________ Windows 10 Pro, i7-3770 3.4Ghz, 32.0 GB RAM, Acer CB280HK 4K Studio One 3 Professional, Notion 5, Roland QUAD-CAPTURE, M-Audio Oxygen 25, S-Gear2, Halion5, NI Komplete, XLN Drums & Keys, Ozone 7 Adv , Alloy 2, Melodyne Studio 4, Sonar Platinum, Cubase Pro 8.5
